GBG Australia undertook a geophysical investigation to map the locations of Mine shafts and workings within a property in Central, New South Wales. A combination of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), FDEM and ERT was used for this investigation.

The GPR investigation was undertaken with a GSSI SIR3000 control unit connected to a 200Mhz shielded antenna.

The FDEM survey was conducted using the GSSI EMP-400 Profiler FDEM systems. The Profiler allows for collection of three different frequencies relating to three different depths of penetration.

The ERT suvey was performed with the GF Instruments ARES resistivity meter. The electrodes were spaced at 2.5m centers.
